The Sewerby Hall and Gardens Orangery Concert Series will start again on Sunday, 7 September with Driffield-based group, The Ad Hoc Singers.
Story
The Sewerby Hall and Gardens Orangery Concert Series will start again on Sunday, 7 September with Driffield-based group, The Ad Hoc Singers.
The series will continue throughout September with a different performer every Sunday.
The Ad Hoc Singers will perform their show “Light music for a Sunday afternoon” at 3pm. The 12 piece group will perform a number of traditional and popular songs including Come to the Fair, Passing By, We’ll Gather Lilacs and Some Enchanted Evening.
Martin Foley, hall keeper, said: “The Ad Hoc Singers perform every year at the hall and continue to be popular with our visitors. It will be a pleasure to welcome them again.”
There is no charge to attend the performance but normal admission charges to the Hall and Gardens apply. Donations towards the musicians’ expenses are invited.
